About Us

Established in 1993 with the chapter name Zeta Sigma, the Texas A&M University chapter of Delta Tau Delta has grown immensely in such a short time. Today, the Delts have 130 active undergraduate members, making us one of the largest men’s fraternities on the Texas A&M’s campus, as well as one of the largest chapters in the Delta Tau Delta national system. As Delts, we aspire to live lives of excellence – our national motto promoting leadership and citizenship.

Committed to living lives of excellence, we take academics seriously. By recruiting scholarly men and providing an environment conducive to academic growth, we are especially proud of being ranked second academically out of eighteen Greek fraternities at Texas A&M for two out of the last three semesters. Many of our members have a perfect 4.0 GPA, and even more have a 3.5 GPA and above.

In addition to our academic focus, life as a Delt affords a balanced college experience through competing in university intramural athletics, volunteering for philanthropic organizations, and of course, social functions with other fraternities and sororities.

Zeta Sigma has consistently ranked as one of the most distinct organizations at Texas A&M. We believe through the defining words of our founding fathers, “Truth, Power, Faith, and Courage,” our members will continue to live lives of excellence and become tomorrow’s leaders.
